I'm actually amazed that adding another bigger breed to the house isn't as much work as I thought it would be. Our Labrador is much happier to have a buddy so isn't nearly as needy as she normally is. They tire each other out, though the Mastiff is nowhere near as play driven as the Lab.
Quackers, the squeeky stuffed duck toy, however, has suffered mightily under the onslaught of two dogs not wanting to share him. RIP little stuffed duck toy I think you've squeeked your last.
My Min Pin Sage is my first small dog, all the rest have been large breeds. When I lived alone and fostered there was a time I had four large dogs (2Boxers, a German Shepherd, and a Collie) plus my Min Pin in my small house. And they all slept with me in my king sized bed. lol
And as for toys, I learned stuffed ones didn't last but a day with multiple dogs. I started getting the ropes, kongs, and such for them to play with. :D
When I fostered the APBT's I fell in love with them so much, I think they were the hardest to let go. But I do still get to see them which is great.

Thanks for posting that, the APBT needs all the positive press it can get. I had a female red/red nose with cropped ears for almost 12 years and I would get the same reaction from people as the guy in the video, so sad cause she was the SWEETEST dog I ever owned!!

Excellent stuff Jo!
Hit me right in the tear maker! I'm so glad that Marroc is making his presence known!

Today some random guy walking his pitbull started talking to my friend, my cousin, and I. All the dog wanted was attention. The guy was telling us that he bought the pit-bull to supress his fear that he had built up over the years of dogs.
Same thing goes for snakes, I was always creeped out by snakes until I got one then it became normal and I love my snakes!
