It appears to me that you have already made your decision of buying another snake. I just hate when people try to stop you from doing something, it infuriates me. In all actuality, having resistance against a cause makes an individual want something even more.

Just get the snake man, if she doesn't like it tell her to get lost.:gj:

I have so many words for this topic but knowing my luck I will get another infraction.

Just going to present both sides of the argument here.

Well if you're together, sharing your living space, sharing your money and everything, I think her concerns are warrented. If you really care for her you should respect her wishes.

However, I'm sure she has a hobby or fetish that she spends her money on, like shoes, purses or clothes. So she would really have no right to complain unless you complain about what she spends her money on.

On the same token, this is a living animal that does need cared for, so this is different from the material posessions she might be interested in.

Personally, I would respect her wishes. Having a relationship is about compromise. This is something you may need to compromise on.

I don't know your situation, serious, married or just living together etc etc. Here is what I would do. Sit down with her and discuss things. Present your side of the arguement and most importantly, listen to hers without interruption. Try to come to some sort of compromise. Just the fact that you care enough to listen to her opinion may gain you alot of ground here. If you don't think that this can be done, or she doesn't care to discuss something you feel is important to you, maybe it is time you rethink your relationship. Just my 2 cents.
