Re: What's the most you would pay...
EBV is very over priced in my opinion. I think that's in part due to being one of the largest specialty reptiles stores in Northern CA. I think that 350 is a ok price for a 08' but not for a 09 hatchling, 250 would be a good price. I myself would never buy a morph from EBV.

Yeah, I think you are right. I was surprised at the $200 price tag on an adult normal, so I should have expected high prices on the morphs. We really do have a lack of reptile shops, which is why I've been dreaming of opening one. :) Also just a Bay Area thing, since everything is overpriced around here! Guess I'll see how prices are at the SJ show, otherwise I will get my next snake online.

Lolo76--- I know the owner (Jeremy) who puts on the Sacramento Reptile Show and he said that so far he has 2 confirmed Ball Python morph breeders that will be at the show, there should be more but that's all I have heard. If you can make it down it should be a excellent show!
Re: What's the most you would pay...
I was actually thinking of making the trip to Sacramento... if I don't find what I'm looking for in San Jose, I'll definitely check it out! :gj:
Re: What's the most you would pay...
I am SLOW! Jeremy also puts on the San Jose show. Durr....
What are you hoping to find? If you don't mind me asking!
Re: What's the most you would pay...

I'd like to find a male spider, mojave, lesser, butter, or possibly albino... and if they're of/near breeding size, I would also take a nice female pastel or spider. :gj:

Sounds cool! :) I've only been to one show, the Herp Expo at Cow Palace in May... and while I did find my Toby there, it was disappointingly small and empty.

Where did you find a Female Spider for $375 and a Male for $350 4 YEARS AGO!?
Re: What's the most you would pay...
Honestly I would pay top dollar and not think twice for animals I find are high quality. I paid $200 for my 200 gram Male Pastel and $500 for my 2400 gram female NORMAL.
I would pay a lot more then that for a really smoking spider. I want to breed for quality and will pay the price to do so. But that's just me.
Good luck and I hope you find the spider you're looking for soon. :)
