Congrats Bill. They look pretty sweet. Did you incubate those eggs a bit drier or cooler? Just wondering.

Thanks Tim. I believe in sharing info so that others might be more successful. The "SSSHHHHH/secret thing" is something I am not a big fan of to say the least. :colbert: So here is the back story.

I did not go drier. I set these up the same as every other clutch this season. I go with the egg crate, perlite, and Press N' Seal in a closed shoe box with NO BREATHING until I remove the plastic at 50 days.

I did go cooler. I put this clutch at the BOTTOM my large, standing floral display cooker. Thermostat was set at 87 degrees with probe hanging in the middle of the incubator. I cut at 57 days and they came out at 59.

This clutch is from a Mojave SK Het x Nerd 100% Het Carmel 50% PH Ghost. While the female is yet to be proven for Glow -- 50% is half a chance. :gj: The reality is that the Caramel Mojaves could be Het for Ghost -- or Glow in the case of the 3 Mojaves. Fun stuff to play with for sure.:D

Thanks to ALL for your kind words. :colbert2::colbert2::colbert2:

The plan is to get some "decent" pics today with my point and shoot Kodak. I have been planning to get a "real camera"-- if this occasion does not warrant it -- I don't know what would.

I'm sure I will! I'm glad everyone doesn't do things as half a__ed as me and you invested in this project (and TSK id the cross to produce your male). I bred my pet store wanabe mojave (actually something new) to a 66% chance het caramel in 2002 and 2003 but never got eggs so I wasn't making any progress on seeing them for myself.
