Please don't do that, but good luck with the waiting game.
LOL... I'm about ready to try that.
After taking a short nap on the couch, I checked on the stubborn snake - and she's still happily curled up under/in the cabinet. I can see and touch her, but it's impossible to pull her out from the spot. When I shined the flashlight under there, she lifted her head and looked at me like "Do you mind? I'm sleeping!" Now I need more sleep, so I just put a (very tall) baby gate across the hallway, which will keep her contained if she emerges. If she's still inside when I wake up, I'll go get a mouse & hope that lures her out. Only problem is that she ate a plump rat on Friday, and I'm afraid she won't be hungry yet! Anyway, I'll keep you updated... thanks for the suggestions all.
Re: Help!! Stuck snake.....
Update: Mona is back in her cage safe and sound. :) I was napping around 7pm, when my roommate came in and said "your snake is in the living room!" She had managed to climb the barrier, and was hiding behind an armchair. She was cold but otherwise fine, and is now resting comfortably in her warm hide. Thanks everyone for the help, and I'm going to plug up that hole now - LOL. :D
Re: Help!! Stuck snake.....
Hahah congrats! Nothing like a happy ending. And btw, in case you were wondering...the 3 day vacation I took made my snakes mad and 6/7 pooped and peed everywhere. Pretty much the worst cleaning day ever. Still airing out the bedroom. Sure you still wanted to come along and assist? lol

Yeah, that's okay... maybe next time. :P
I'm so relieved to have Mona back in her tank, and will definitely be more careful next time - she's a fast one!!
Re: Help!! Stuck snake.....
Yay! Congrats on a safe rescue. Now, send her to her hide with no dinner for a week! :P

LOL mrshawt... I'll ground her for the week, and only give her F/T instead of a live rat. :P
She was actually reluctant to go back in her tank, and kept popping out as I tried to secure it. But she finally settled down, and didn't leave her warm hide for about 10 hours (unusual since she's usually in the cool one). Considering how cold our house is, we're lucky she didn't freeze to death!
