does this sound right to any of you??

I really dont want to out him. The deal felt funny, so I had him ship first. I didnt get what I was expecting, after a ton of text messages and phone calls we just agreed to call the deal off. No harm done. The sick snakes on the other hand, I really dont think 3 of them caught RI overnight in a shipping box.....

Oddly enough, our first deal went great. My 2 animals that he shipped were top notch, then came the ill females, then the smaller than expected snakes. I wont go for strike 3. The animals he sent were VERY nice, but they were not what I was told I was getting. I thought I was going to have a lesser female that would pump out 6-8 eggs this coming season, not one that I would have to powerfeed to get back to 1500.

On the other hand, if anyone has a LEGIT trade, I still have my bee :banana:

Just saw this and thought it seemed similar and the seller posted a picture of a lesser on her eggs( looks to be duds)

I have to say again that Josh and I agreed to kill the deal, no harm done, we even split the shipping costs to return everything. Did the snake lay 9 eggs? I cannot say that it did or did not, from what I am told he posted a pic, so draw your own conclusions from that. This lesser is absolutely gorgeous though, thats been agreed upon, it was just not as big as I thought it was going to be, so we killed the deal. I talked with Josh a few times since this ordeal and we are good. I do not want people to hate the guy, i mean stuff happens, and we set it straight. To me thats much better than someone who wont even return your calls.

I don't know man... sounds to me like you are being a little easy on him... but I guess that is your right. If someone misrepresented animals like that with me, I am afraid I would be a little less understanding.

The way I see it, he did take them back, he did split the cost with me, and we are both squared now. He is obviuosly young, I thought 19, but he is just trying to get into business I guess, and he did right by taking the stuff back that I was unhappy with. I know that I have bought from other people and gotten DOAs and never even a response, much less a half paid return.

I cant sway anyones vote to believe him, or buy from him, or whatever, but he and I are square if that makes a differance.

at the end of the day I am out of about 25 bucks. He let me keep the 8 other snakes also. The ill ones will be checked out, hopefully healed, the rest will be quarantined till further notice... and life goes on.

Also the ad is now removed off Fauna.

Always good to see a "happy ending"
