    I agree with what other people have said. Buy the individual snake and not the line. For example, I have a male pastel, pictured first, who has browned out along his spine. Second, I have a female Pastel that hasn't browned out much at all. They are both from different lines, with the female being more 'blonde' in color than the male.

    Notice that the male had a lot more brown along his spine as a baby than the female.
