You might want to consider covering the top with aluminum foil or Styrofoam or some form of insulator so all the heat and humidity doesn't escape through the mesh. Also this will help you regulate your temperature better because your cage will fluctuate less due to outside temps. :)
    Pretty snake btw :)
And everything that has already been said is right.

Just an update on my bp. He's doing great in his new home. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice. It was heeded. He eats regularly now, once a week. He has a strong feeding response, he will come out of his hide within 2 minutes of smelling food. I'm feeding him live prey. He's moved from adult mice to small rats. He's also has his first successful shed (with me anyways). Wasn't aggressive at all during his shed especially when I had to change his water and put him in a tub to soak. Skin came off in one complete roll. I had to help with the skin on his head tho. I'm going to switch from the cypress bedding back to the aspen because the humidity in the cypress is too high. Because I had so much good luck with this bp I want to get a spider bp because I love their patterns but it won't be until I move to a bigger house (don't have room for another enclosure). Until then I'll just read up on them. Again thanks to all for their advice!

Thanks for taking everyone's advice and not getting all defensive. Once you have everything set up right, it's pretty easy going. Good luck.

I'm very humble and I can take criticism as long as its constructive. Besides it would be pretty stupid on my part to get defensive especially when I'm the novice. Any and all advice to me is welcome!
