THANKS alot guys, sorry about not responding but i just got back from work...i used the medium large uth.. and used them with a rethrostat i think thats how you spell it, my other 2 didnt cause anything but just top 2 bins.. yeah i was all upset till like 4am last night and finally got some sleep and was tired all day stressing about my snakes.. yeah i know there just snakes but they had me stressing... kinda sucks you dont realize what you got till it's gone, ordered some heat tape and a herpstat.. hopefully that works out better for me,,,, also what can i do to lower my humidity in my bins.... i have a 5 rack system with 28qt tubs, newspaper bedding, one large hide, and one water bowl, got small holes drilled all around and still having 70-76% humidity levels......really bugging me....

Did you have rheostat? That is the equivalent of a lamp dimmer.

Same size flexwatt (or heat pads) on any one heating control device for all enclosures, otherwise you will get fluctuations. :(

Snakes can be your babies too, I'm sure everyone here can agree to that. I feel so sorry for your loss, and I agree w/ past statements where even bad things can happen to good people, it's really to bad. Please send my good thoughts to you and your wife...
I can't give much advice on racks as I do not use them as of yet..
I just wanted to send my condolences from everyone here at the CT Reptile Rescue
