I'm going to disagree with this as well. In my experience, transporting chondros on a perch tends to make them less stable. As with most snakes, when you are in motion, it makes the animals restless and chondros in particular are at risk of falling from their perch or damaging the vertebrae from holding onto the perch. If this was a short trip, I would agree with your idea. Being that it's an hour, I would recommend a SMALL tub with no perch. Something round so the chondro can coil. I would not place a small chondro in a bag, but I would also not allow the access to a perch while traveling either. Loose paper towels as filler and substrate, in a Glad food type container, inside a cooler.

Where in Europe are you moving back to? I have a couple of chondro friends there. One in particular is making a cross-country U.S. trip this summer and will be staying with me for a couple of days. He is in Holland and has some killer stuff.

Well im pickin him up in about 24 hours. I got this picture of him last night and he had a stuck shed. Should i use the wet pillow case trick? Im setting up a small tub tonight, should i just bump up the humidty when i get him? Im not to sure how old the photo is. How does he look? How old does he look? What is a good size tank for a guy that size? He is being keep in a 10 gallon right now....
