Re: My first BP feeding video... be nice :)
wow... I would not never believe what clicky link should do lol. After two days and no response I was just like: "Martin... you are so stupid! For people here it's feeding so common and they just do not need to see in vid what they can see at least once a week...". But after a lot of amazing response I owe you some answers :)

software: Vegas Video used for that. For me is the best of the best... And I spend about 4hrs on that video.

Youtube: I already have account on Youtube (if anyone want's to see my previous non-reptile related work it's here). I like working with video so Youtube is a must :). Unfortunately after Tyler Bates (creator of music in vid) became popular after 300 movie it's against policy publish this video on Youtube because it's under license now :(. Only chance is change music or re-create it my self... that's why I have used Facebook (they have less strict policy).

"style": This video is some kind of response for my own feelins I have :). "Prey" in video is exactly #4. So yes it's pretty new for me offering live mouse as dinner... ;). Many years ago I was typical "rodent boy" (I had a lot of rats, hamsters or guinea pigs as pets) and just dreamed about having big snake. Now at least my dream came true and I have this beauty at home (It's more middle size snake than big... but I'm still happy :)). I know it would sound silly for all local veterans but I still a bit feel for those rodents. That's why vid may look bit... epic or evil (as you noticed :)). But that's not the aim at all! I'm so amazed to see how BP is hunting. That speed, precision and uniqueness is really amazing. Only my "dark side" (young "rodent boy") is showing off a bit :). That's also why I tried to warn anyone with that paraphrase of usual warning :). I'm really glad at least someone likes it (special thanks to anatess :D).

Thank you all so much for comments. It means a lot for me!

Re: My first BP feeding video... be nice :)
You know, the first time I've ventured into learning things about snakes, my first exposure was youtube videos. And I have to admit, it made me wonder if I made a big mistake in "allowing" my dear husband to get one. I started to get really disgusted by the plentiful feeding videos out there who show zero respect for the rodent/bunny/chicken/fill-in-the-blank... I've owned hamsters and bunnies and guinea pigs all my life and I have more affinity to them than to the snake (I used to be one of those people with irrational fear of snakes) and seeing them carelessly thrown in with a snake with all the heavy metal music in the background, laughing and snickering the whole time... man! But then, I got introduced to bp.net and I realized that snake owners are not just people who own snakes for the "shock-factor" of watching a rodent get killed. But, I still stay away from feeding videos.

But Malpaso, your feeding video was really classy. And the Warning, I thought, was indicative of your respect for rodent lovers. And that snake was a real pro!
