You and ur family will be in my prayers. Also NOT to get off subject but I am thrilled to see so many religious people on here. I am and love my Lord and saviour. We (at my work) begin each morning with a prayer.....sorry not about me. Will pray for ur Grandfather and ur family.

I'm so sorry I missed this thread earlier. Positive thoughts sent your way. I truly hope your grandfather is feeling better very, very soon.

Quick update. His surgery went well, and they were able to do everything they planned to get done. His next surgery will be on Monday, with several more in the future. He will stay in ICU for the next month as they work on getting rid of the rest of the infection, so he still has a long road to recovery but we definitely have a more positive outlook.

Good to hear that the surgery went well. If I understood your first post, the biggest hurdle was just getting him stable enough to be able to do that surgery, so it sounds very promising.

I hope today's surgery goes well also.
