Its funny how quick some people are to judge someone for there actions, when there isnt anyone who is perfect and hasn't made mistakes like he did, hypicritical. Just saying!

You may want to look up the definition of hypocritical.

I don't know who this guy is but... Maybe the writer of the article found it strange that somebody would actually protect a rattlesnake and made him out to look strange. Or maybe as a celebrity he saw an opportunity to get some press and did act odd knowing that it would get his name in the media.

Lol. :) I think the Barney thing is kinda cute. I love actors and actresses that obviously have a sense of humor and somehow manage to incorporate it into their acting careers. Justin Long is one of my favorites because of that. I've also got a thing for extremely dorky guys so that's probably why I grinned each time I read "Barney" :D

he's not derranged... he's funny. that just like him to me, and not out of character at all. his sense of humor is just a little weird. but is naming a snake really that weird..? i would have probably done the same.. barney was probably the first thing that came to mind. nothing derranged about that.
    lighten up.

p.s. - i love him. always have. he's not in the tabloids nearly as much as other young actors/actresses... and he's had a dui... so what? so have two people in my family.. and we are pretty down to earth, living "comfortably", kind of people.

I love the guy! I thought he was a cute kid on the Disney show and now I think he is dreamy in the movies he plays in now. I like the guy all around and I think him saving a snake is the sprinkles on top!

What is so strange about this? I am happy that he made sure the snake was ok, and I think the naming thing was more of a way to calm everyone down. Defuse the situation. What do you do when you are an actor on set and you see a poisonous snake? Everyone else around you is panicing and you want them to clam down .. you give the snake a name, and show compassion for it.

I think what he did may sound strange, but he had the whole thing under control and he saved a reptile.

He's still Shia LaDouche in my book, but a little less Shia LaDouche.
