Yes it is. Can you take it back?

Sadly, no I cannot take it back. Its a stupid move I suppose, but I guess I can try selling it on craigslist or something. Good ideas. Thank you.

It is not a stupid move, just an inexperienced move. It is very difficult to keep the heat and humidity in the proper range in such a large enclosure. Also a lot of ball pythons go off feed in such a large enclosure, because they do not feel secure. You can alter the enclosure to try to fix these issues. If they do not work, then I suggest going with a smaller one; such as, a 20 gallon long.

    Hope this helps.

You could always buy something else that is more suited to keep in the 55 gallon tank! :P But it isn't the best enclosure for a BP in most circumstances, and co-habing them is also not a good idea. If you want to know more, I suggest doing a search or starting your own thread.

    LOL!

I still am trying to decide what I'm picking out for my 60 gallon. It's been sitting empty for several months now...

i use a few different sized rack system since it saves space and holds humidity much better. with close to 20 snakes as well as expecting 6 or so clutches this year it would take up way to much space housing them all in tanks. plus i find them a lot easier to clean.
