Once and it was a dumb mistake. We had an old gas stove, no pilot light, I let him slip away from me and when I grabbed him he was hooked to something and I didn't want to pull to hard. I knew he was in the stove, I took it apart, but still couldn't get to him. I waited for half and hour then there he was hanging off the top of the stove

Other than that no escapes, they are in tubs in a home made rack so there's no way they can open a lid.

I have had a few. but I am in the process of making a new containment system for them all. I am personally sick of having the large aquariums all over the place. I hope that this system will prevent future outbreaks.:please:

Twice. They were both totally my fault. I fell asleep reading with them. The first time, Odysseus(given to nephew) found himself a place on my desk in the CD tower. Ophi found a nice blanket to curl up in.

I also fell asleep while studying with Ophi once. I woke up with her face in my face. She flicked her tongue at my nose. It was so priceless. She had this, "Momma, wake up; you're gonna be late for school" look. ^_^

Too cute, lol. I haven't had any snakes escape but i did have my pacman soaking for his chytrid treatment yesterday and he managed to jump out of the bowl and into the sink.

Sounds like something that happened to me! I was cleaning my BPs cage--I was on the kitchen floor because they somehow managed to plaster their old shed all over the walls, and i was trying to scrape it off.

My mom was watching the snakes for me, and she was holding one, and just watching the other... She looked away for a few minutes and when i glanced to make sure they were doing okay, All I saw was Flicker's (one of my snakes) tail disappearing though a hole in the bottom of one of the cabinets into the sink plumbing..

It literally grabbed a crowbar and pulled apart the sink cabinet to get him out. And when I finally found him, he was turned around just about ready to come out. xD Dad was sooo pissed and I had to help fix it.

    I still say It's my mom's fault >_>
