I feel bad for the rat drowning.

I also feel bad for the rat that gets nailed by a snake and then proceeds to be squeezed to death.

Things have to die some time for other things to live....

Not necessary with this captive bass, and we can feed F/T...

It should not be comfortable to watch a living creature die.

I agree it would have been just as effective and more humane to use a F/T.

Judging by the music, the video was meant for entertainment purposes, and not documentary or educational reasons (which would have been more acceptable IMO).

I would have been totally fine with the video if the person making it went about it in a more humane, educational way and less of a "Hey gais chex out mah killer b@ss!!!! zomg lol!!!!" way

I love all the condemning in the thread.

Very few on here can claim they've never thought a feeding was "cool", or showed it to a friend to show them how "cool" it is.

Filming/editing is no different. He's showing it to friends.

Some of you need to get of your high horse, or maybe just get in touch with reality.

The video made me sad, but I'm not going to scold the OP for feeding his animal.

    Actually, I can claim that.
Because I don't find enjoyment out of watching living animals die. Especially when it is unnecessary. I care about animals, including my feeders, and want to make their lives as best as I possibly can. I feed as humanly as possible, and as much f/t as possible.
It wasn't the OPs fish, he was just sharing a video he found.

A lot of people on here are animal lovers. So, I shall stay on my high horse and do a piaffe at that.

I would'nt call it condemnation its more like called having respect that it is a living breathing animal , and there are more humane ways other than what was obviously demonstrated by the video. So maybe reality seems a little bit closer to you now.

I wasn't being rude, I was simply stating that some of the people in this thread need to get over the "e-thug" phase where they feel the need to shoot everyone down.

Also, please post in English next time so I might be able to understand your post. Thanks, bro.
