There are a TON of things that make me question my faith in humanity. But yes, the fact that there were 14 fart noise applications released for the iPhone in a single day is one of them.
Some other reasons I've noted as of late:
Woman sues friend for pulling her out of a wrecked car after an accident.
Walmart worker trampled to death by mob of Black Friday shoppers.
Man dressed as Santa goes on shooting spree, including shooting an 8 year old girl in the face, for revenge against ex-wife.
New York woman awarded millions in lawsuit after being hit by a subway train. Sounds reasonable, until you learn she was laying on the tracks in an attempt to commit suicide.
Man assaults girlfriend with cheeseburger.
Man assaults father with Christmas tree.
Burger King has now launched it's own line of cologne called "Flame". They describe it as "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat."
Here is a video of the iPhone breasts app that someone mentioned:

The list could go on and on...
I try my best to believe in my fellow man/woman, but with stuff like this going on, it can be tough.

Twenty-two dogs went to Best Friends, where McMillan and his staff chart their emotional state daily; almost all show steady improvement in categories such as calmness, sociability and happiness. McMillan believes 17 of the dogs will eventually be adopted, and applicants are being screened for the first of those. The other 25 have been spread around the country; the biggest group, 10, went to California with BAD RAP. Fourteen of the 25 have been placed in permanent homes, and the rest are in foster care.
