Laid off today.

I am sorry, I hope things start looking up for you. You might try some goverment jobs. www.usajobs.com They're hiring across the board if you have the experience.

I know what you are going thru. Back in '01 I was laid off 2 weeks before Christmas after working there for 14 years.
I was out 10 months before finding a job that laid me off in before this Summer.
The new place I work at is cutting back now as well.

Sometimes in construction all it takes is the weather to delay a project resulting in layoffs...
I know what you are saying though its just rough times and a rough economy right now.All we really can do is work hard,keep a positive attitude,and just try a to get through it!
