    sorry to dig up an older post, but congats daniel! i'm guessing you're one of the few that have bred these outside of zoos?

    Blackheaded monitors are right behind ackies in numbers being produced in captivity. They are more commonly captively breed than alot of other species......but you could probably count the number of people who are breeding them at the moment with both hands...

    ...not many are successful in breeding monitors in general....so in comparison to some other reptiles, I may be "one of the few."
