Wait on a tat brotha, don't just go into a parlor and pick a design out. Make it your own. Go full custom. I've spent years planning my tatty's and I couldn't be any happier with how they've all turned out. My tattoo's are all rooted in religion but if I was you I wouldn't get one symbolizing the relationship that you had that didn't work out (Sorry about that by the way) think out your ink man, then when you go get it done you'll be happy that you waited.

Once again sorry to hear about you and your girl, I went through some stuff like that and trust me it's better to have loved and lost then spend all your time on one that's not on your level.

I'm pro ink for sure so think it out, get something meaningful and awesome and then post pics!

Haha Ok Mike yes I should have worded that better. I see where that would have looked stalkerish if interpreted the way you did. I meant that God has a plan for us as people ... not the two of us. Not me and the girl. I haven't talked to her in three weeks and don't plan on getting back together with her. I can't claim that I have completely moved on but I feel that I am well on my way there. From what I heard from other people she "found someone else" and that is what caused this sudden change. Since that seems to be the case I wouldn't get back together with her for anything. Clearly I am going to wait on getting a tattoo. But I was thinking about it for maybe six months in the future.

To everybody ... sorry I wasn't here to correct the misinterpretation sooner. I was driving from Oklahoma to Indiana. Hope this clears things up.

As for the remembrance part I should have worded that more clearly too. It is more to remind myself that God has a plan for me and even if things seem to suck sometimes it is still all part of his plan.

Getting a tat to remember an ex is a seriously bad idea. Your opinion of her is going to change over time and its probably not going to be for the better.

It sucks when relationships end but you need to put it behind you and move on.

You are obviously a good guy with good intentions. Words of wisdom.... I have lots of tattoos. One thing I learned to be very true...

If you have to ask someone else what tattoo you should get, then your not ready. This is one of the few things in life you really should come up with / choose yourself.

Best of luck. If you have a good heart then soon enough you will find someone that can see that and is worthy of it.

Thank you for understanding my rewording of things and for the great advice on tattoos. If I end up up getting one in the future I will definitely upload some pictures.

Dude theres a ton of women out there dont sweat it. As for getting a tatoo over the girl all its going to do is remind you of her, go out and get yourself some and you will forget her:banana::banana:
