ClowN Combo?!?

there was a banana clown for sale on kingsnake last month. he wanted 35K for it.

how do you make a killer clown?

I believe a killer clown is a double homozygous pastel and clown (aka a super pastel clown). So both of its parents would have to have at least one copy each of pastel and clown. So you could make it with a pair of pastels het clown (which are actually double het clown and pastel but no one seems to call pastels hets even though that is what they are) with a 1:16 shot per egg. Eventually you could improve your odds with super pastel het clown or clown pastel all the way up to breeding a pair of killer clowns and producing 100% killer clowns.

Anybody done a lesser/butter clown? Pics? I just picked up a pair of het clowns and will definitely hold back a male clown to pair up with different co doms. I needs me a lesser/butter female.

I am working on the Lesser Clown right now as we speak! I have three adult clown girls so I think it should happen.

So if you produce lesser het for clowns this year and get a male up to breeding size by next season, you could hatch a lesser clown next year. Nice! I wish you success.:gj:

Or do you already have a lesser het for clown male? That would be great, I can't wait to see one.
