Randy -- They may have taken down the 07 hatch pics over the last 3 months. They were in their available section and did resemble each other enough to be considered visual hets for my money -- although I did not purchase any.

I think their money is safe. I will look at the 08 pics (haven't done so yet).
The people thet purchased pairs should be breeding them this coming season. I feed my snakes :D -- I would have early 07 girls near 2000 grams by now. I think they will prove and be a popular morph. Of the 3 -- Paragon, Burgandy, and Toffee -- I like the Toffee most.;)

As sure as I am that one, and likely both, of my 2 projects will prove -- I have never considered letting any of them go before they do. I am not judging Craig in the least. I know he wanted to give others the opportunity to prove the animals along with him -- kind of cool I think.:gj:

Plus he is starting out with an apparent homozygous. In my case I have a line (from a possible het pied) that has some of that look going on. Based on this thread I've now decided to buy my last female for the $25 I had her listed for. Still I might be ripping myself off as that's probably about all mine are worth as its likely nothing without a homozygous parent and a subtle not that uncommon look. I already sold all the other clutch mates except one female with both the glazed look and the pied marker (like dad) but looking at pics there might have been others with this look.

I could take it or leave it. I would much rather spend the money on some other morphs.:D

It's a testament to the incredible success of the ball python industry that it's been able to produce such numbers of absolutely stunning morphs that someone could yawn at a Toffee.

True.

I am a sucker for contrast and bright color. No reduced pattern or patternless snakes for me. Most of my fav morphs are not rare at all. I actually like the look of a nice pastel more than the toffee.

Mark I actually consider the Toffee ball, Candy ball and Paragon all to be the same morph. Sorry if I mislead you. I have adult het's so we shall see if I can get lucky and make one.

I'm one of the ones who took a "gamble" and got a pair of het toffees from Craig. The guarantee was enough to convince me that it wasn't a gamble at all. My female could be ready this year but I would be cutting it close...it's going to be a really tough call. :)

Craig had it on display at the last Toronto reptile expo...It's nice to be able to see the adult colors. Can't wait to see what a baby will look like.

It would also be nice to do an exchange with someone who's working with the Paragon in the future to see if they're compatible.

I'm just a small breeder who does this as an after-hours hobby so I really can't wait until I see one peeking at me from inside the egg.... It's going to be a really long year and a half.:O

Good luck, Dennis. I prefer the Toffee best of the 3. I think they will prove and I would roll the dice if they are 18 months old and at least 1600 grams -- but that is me!!!;)

Does anyone know what the status on the sandblast and lemonfrost projects from Urban Python?? Those are two unique looking animals!
