Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
Looks like a dinker project waiting to happen. I think it's most likely a fantastic looking normal. He's nice a fat (looks part blood)LOL
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
Good luck with him and let us know how his babies turn out.
Here is a somewhat similar looking female I picked up in a pet store along with one of the daughters that proved her genetic.

Of course the hope with anything like this is that it will be co-dominant with an even more stunning super and/or will make neat combos.
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
Randy, I remember seeing them at the Denver show a few months back... very cool!
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
Thanks. I just wish I had a son like her to breed back. I see a fair number of ch like the original poster's that look interesting and tried to get one but didn't work it out in time. Now I'm thinking I'm just going to throw a pastel, spider, and mojave at her this year and see what comes out. She's been eating some pretty big retired breeder rats but still isn't really back to fat yet after 14 eggs last year.
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
I also agree that's not just any old normal. I'm thinking along the lines of at least a genetic strip and it almost looks like a cinny to me  Great pick up :gj: Can't wait to see what you do with her!
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
wow I am stumped but I see most of the more experienced are saying thats a normal... Thats what they said about my female normal but I think she is a morph all on her own just like yours! beautiful snake what ever the morph!

that girl is seriously the biggest ball python I have ever seen, good luck gettting her huge and in a hurry.
Re: Need help to identify my new ball python
I think a few people are confused... the OP posted the granite stripe and the cinnie stripe as EXAMPLES, not as further pics of the same snake.
To the OP, Cinnie and granites are specific morphs, and your snake isn't either of them. Sorry, but it isn't.
Captive Hatched (CH) just means it was hatched in captivity.
And where someone got that it was Mohave? Not sure about that one, but it isn't a Mojo. :)
Gorgeous snake though. Very nice. Best way to find out if there is something genetic there is to breed him, hold back the daughters, and then breed them back to him at some point.
He is a looker and congrats, you have a VERY sharp looking snake. :)
