I'm also thoroughly confused about everything NVP has posted.

I have reread that Fauna thread at least 4 times, and it is still very hard to follow.

well... from what it looks by reading them all and trying to keep up it seems they're a couple of them involved in this or one pretending to be all 3 im not for sure lol. but i would be very cautious or weiry about trying to buy from any of them. some of the snakes for sale from them if i recall are either someone elses that hasnt been returned or one that were sold but never shipped and some that they dont even have.

Well, at this point I am not planning on buying anything from anyone but Adam anyway but...
No Ohio sellers for me unless I already know them well, but I didn't before hand anyway. I am sure I have walked by these scammers at the Ohio show many times before.

Well, I'm sitting here trying to figure out exactly what happened.

He had bought the original het Lav female from the scammer last year, and (from what Tosha has said, although I don't remember seeing it in his posts) he bred her to a Lavender Male. Not a het, a Lavender male.

He didn't get any Lav's from the pairing, so he goes back to the SAME guy he purchased it from the year before, and trades that female for 2 100% het lav's.

    Put's up an ad

Then.... somewhere on that day he finds out from somewhere they are just normals.

Then... this fauna thread is made

    Then he contacts Sticky Tongues

    And I'm lost again..

That's probably all wrong... but it's what I could glean from it.

Hello jeff, sorry for the confusion but they were not produced by grant but damed by one of his 100%hets and sired by an RDR lavender albino, we were looking at around 1200-1400 trade value. Thanks very much..Michael

I can't follow the thread on fauna either. Thank goodness for Deborah summing it up, and sniffing him out (whether he's the same guy who keeps doing this, or a different scammer.......)

Trust me I have a hard time following myself as there are many inconsistencies and the story evolves as it goes. :rolleye2:

You and your steel trap of a brain. I knew there was a reason I PM you whenever I am having trouble remembering the W5s of any situation. :)

Okay, I reread it yet again....

So, he bought the Het female Lav from this scammer guy. Bred her to his RDR Lav albino male, but he got all normals.

He knows then that she is not a het, but if he bred her to a Lav Albino, then the offspring he was trying to trade/sell are still hets. Am I right? They should all be het for RDR Lav Albino.

Then he goes on to say that he knew the hets were fake when he talked to Grant. And I'm assuming he contacted Grant because he expected Lav albinos if he bred the Het female to a Lav Albino male.

Are the two hets he is referring to in his email to Jeff Lumin really from the fake Het female and the RDR Lavender Albino Male?

Does he actually have a Lavender Albino? That's I think where I'm confused.

Any animal from a Lavender Albino male IS a het. Where are those animals? Or is he lying about the Lav male?

It appears that there are several different animals being discussed in that thread. I just need to sort out which ones are which...

Grant posted on KS that Michael Spradlin was selling fake hets as produced by him (thread got pulled for obvious reasons) and then I saw the ad for the pastel het caramel with Michaels name on it and got a bit curious so I emailed Grant to make sure it was the same guy. Grant did send me the email communications with Michael as well as the fake paperwork but said he wasn't not going to bother posting on the BOI thread.

Anyway in the emails he says he was scammed by Donny and didn't know. He says he put the supposed het he bought last year from Donny with his RDR Lavender Albino male and got nothing but normal looking animals. To some these were the ones he was selling to others it was the 08 het pair supposedly produced by Grant with the bogus paperwork that he was selling.

The reason I kept pushing for him to show the Lav Albino is because I knew he didn't have it. Or at least he'd have to come up with a bogus picture to prove he did as well as he wouldn't be able to prove where he bought it from - as there were only a few places you could have gotten a breedable Lav Albino. I figured it would be another nail in his coffin. I mean come on for him to have a $20K+ animal and not have a picture of  Hell last year the juvie het would have been $20K and he says he paid cash without a genetics guarantee!
