I agree that I would not want to have my wires glued down for cleaning BUT for my bigger tanks it would be plausible since the big tanks are never submerged in water for cleaning. I use velcro for the device - and I tape the probes in place with painters tape (blue tape as Raul mentioned) The probes are beneath the cage liners (Scott Shop Towels)
