Re: What all do you keep track of?
I use Herp Care software, and I keep track of feeding (size, type, quantity, refusals), shedding, pooping. Of course, I will keep track of copulations, etc. as soon as I start breeding.

i use iherp, and love it. I keep track of feedings, sheds, weight, and length. I thought it was too weird to document poop. when i start breeding (in a few years), i'll keep track of all the important breeding stuff, too.

I guess pretty much everything. I dont really use a chart, I just keep a notebook next to the enclosure and write very detailed observations... This may seem a bit much to some ppl but what can I say... I'm an over protective parent. :)

Then again for now I only have the one snake.

Whoa, thats extreme, you keep track of the colour and sex of the rat? I guess if you only have one snake...lol

I feed live rats of appropriate size every saturday and sticker tubs for snakes that refused to eat.
If i feed something odd like a mouse or gerbil I log it on the card.
All sheds are logged and weights are logged once a month. Any odd problems are logged on the back of the card like runny stool, regurge , rancid stool. Though these issues rarely surface if they do they are dealt with emediately. During breeding very detailed records are kept on seperate cards with snakes together , witnessed copulations,Posible or obvious ovulations and POS . The colored dot stickers work great for a quick reference while feeding. If i have a tub with multiple red dots its obvious this animal is off feed and extra time is spent with feeding attempts. I sticker any tub with a green sticker that has feed still in the tub. Pos stickers are blue and my favorite sticker:D
