I have had some packages arrive late to people lately.
You'll get nowhere asking for even a partial refund.
Even if it is clear and sunny and on the truck hours before the scheduled delivery, they will claim it is due to the weather and not refund anything.

As far as the driver not delivering it, call the main company. I had a guy that would throw boxes up my stairs onto the porch because he didn't want to touch the boxes for too long and when he was told he couldn't do that anymore, tried claiming it was not deliverable due to being a non-existant address. I want this guy fired or at the very least suspended so he doesn't pull this any more.

I have no patience for drivers like this. I would be on the phone right now demanding they reprimand the driver and refund the shipping fees.

I have yet to have one ship on time. When I got the box from Tosha this week he around 40 min late and I was crossing my fingers hoping it would not turn into a situation like this.

Thing to remember about FedEx, is that most of the routes are sub contracted out. What I mean by that is, peope buy Fedex routes. The driver either owns that route or works for the bloke that does, and really does not work directly for FedEx. It is a really wierd set up / system they have.

Since you paid for a time specific delivery, and you KNOW it wasn't a weather dely, you should be able to get a partial refund. Unfortunately, I think the shipper is the one that has to put up the stink to get it.
