    Hi,

    Nice looking tank. :gj:

I couldn't help but notice the round dial type thermometers and such - are they what you are using to measure the temps and humidity?

I ask because they are frequently quite a bit off.

    Hi,

Most people reccoment the acurite weather station things from wallmart for about $12.

They have a probe that can read temps (most people put that in the warm side hide) and the base unit reads temp and humidity - most people leave that at ground level in the cool end. :)

Of course the snakes seem to take great delight in trashing them.

Once the humidity was ok and I was relatively certain it was going to stay that way I mainly just use probes at both ends and only put the base units in now and again to check nothing has gone awry. :gj:

Good catch by Dr. Del on the dial thermometers. But that raises another question in my mind. How are you heating the enclosure and how are you regulating that heat?

I agree that the decor is top notch and I'm sure your bp feels pretty secure and comfortable in his/her home...

I have a heating pad on the left side of the tank..that side usually reads about 6 degrees higher then the other..
