I don't see anything distinguishing or "brighter" about the spider and pastel posted above either, or what "markers" make them a leopard cross. Toss them in with other pastels and spiders and I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. The pastel looks darker rather than lighter, unless he was in shed.
Can you link to a picture of just a leopard rather than a cross? Maybe that will help. If you plan to market your offspring as such, it would be good to be able to clearly define what makes them different from other pastels or spiders.
