    Ohhh, thought you had a dimmer per post #12?

    I wouldn't run the UTH without a dimmer or thermostat. You'll cook your baby, they're just too hot without any control. Keep your temps going with the red light until you buy a rheostat or thermostat for the pad. :)

    No I meant to say that I hadnt gotten it yet . The old pad stayed at a good temp 95 or so . it was a knock ff brand When this one got so hot I freaked . the temps are great right now . Does he NEED the heat pad or can he get along just fine with lamp ?
