    Nolvasan/chlorhexidine takes 10 minutes too. If you are soaking bowls or wiping down the cage you should let it sit/soak for 10 minutes. It is not effective if you just spray it on and then wipe it off immediately.
    The manufacturer also recommends mixing small batches with distilled water instead of tap water, and then using that solution within a six week time frame. The unmixed solution will last a long long time but once mixed/diluted it should be used fairly quickly.

    i dont see how rubbing alcohol would take ten minutes to work, when it evaporates in like 15 seconds ????

    They are talking about lysol and Chlorhexidine... I pulled a lab sheet last night and it takes 30 seconds for alcohol.....
