thanx everyone. I checked on him today and gently flipped him to check his belly and didn't see any pink. wonder if that was a reflection from something nearby? we'll certainly know soon enough if he's going into shed. But I'll be good and leave him alone for his settling in period (gosh its gonna be tough, he's so cute!) I'm sure with plenty of holding he'll calm down and figure out that he's not going to be harmed or eaten. :D

I want another one...just as cute as he is!

FYI - did anybody else have a threat alert when opening this thread or is it just my virus protection?

well, just an update on the new guy. I received him on July 9, and on Friday, July 11 was normal feeding day for everyone else. So off to the store to get everyone food. Much to my surprise, but obvious delight, my pastel decided that eating was a good thing. and as was pointed out by Cassandra, he is going into shed, cause when I checked his belly this morning it was a dark pink. And I am such a dunce, I only just realized that he is also my first visible morph. :rolleye2: :giggle: silly me, was so excited in getting him.
