Thanks Christi! :) I totally snuggled her every chance I got! She was a real character, and mastered her Eskimo kissing skills... The cute completely made up for the slight odor she was starting to develop! LOL

They are very similar in attitude and personality of a cat. Howeever they are much smarter. We looked into them a few years back, as Monica and I really fell in love with them. They have some Choclate Albinos that are beautiful. We did a bit more research and found out that they are illeagal to keep as pets in Louisiana, so no quality breeder would sell us one. Maybe if we move, we'll go to Arkansas, as I know there are quite a few good breeders there, and they are legal.
Congrats on the job well done Laura.
p.s. Justin, you can have the glands removed if you keep them as pets, and they can't spray that wonderful smell any more.

Aww! Pounce mode is so cute! I didn't know they did that.

OK... I don't know if it's just me, but I really don't mind the smell that bad. I don't mean full on sprayed, but driving through a skunk cloud, I actually kinda like the smell.... :weirdface

Oooohhh yea! They bat at you with their little front feet... and hit the floor with them  kinda like a playful dog, with it's butt in the air!
Here's a question... just out of curiosity, do the pet skunks use a litter box? I just wonder what the people that keep them do about poo control?
