Other thoughts... if you were in pain that bad... why did you drive yourself? That is dangerous!

Also this probably just reveals that I'm a female that has no real idea about these things, but I interpreted your statement about feeling like you got kicked in the testicle as a metaphor to explain the intensity of the extreme amount of pain you were feeling. Other people seem to be taking it more literally. But would you feel that in your stomach?

Since it might be something serious, I'd at least consult with a doctor about it. Explain to the doctor as you did to us that you don't want a lot of tests done for nothing. If the doctor seems to think there is a concern and still wants to do tests, then you can at least listen to his/her reasons and make a decision from there.

mmk when men get hit in the testes not only do the balls hurt but it also feels like your stomach is imploding it really weird but it sucks sooooo much.XD

Pat, pain in there to tell us something is wrong. At least spend the cash to go see your family doctor and have a general going over. You can always decide then if there's any indications that further testing is a smart thing to do.

You need to consult a Doctor. Nothing else to say. We can guess all we want, but you need a professional opinion.... get to your Doctor!

    Ummm. YUP

Was walking out to bring in the trash cans one day with a friend when out of the blue it felt like someone literally punched me right in the lower stomach as hard as they could, I doubled over in tears.

i have gall stones, and can assure you that what you're describing is nothing like what i go through, but haha you sound like me and don't want to get it checked out!

yer gall bladder is on the right side of yer body underneath your ribcage. when you have a gall attack it feels like someone has speared you with a whaling harpoon right through the gallbladder, and most of the time when i have an attack i can PHYSICALLY FEEL my organ saying OWWW. sucks. glad you DONT have gallstones, but i hope you figure out what's wrong with ya so it doesn't happen again!~

everyone will tell u to get it checked out, so thats prolly what you should do (sheesh i should take my own advice :P)

It also sounds like a testicular torsion to me.

Testicular torsions are not normal and they are not supposed to happen. They are usually caused by a weakened ligament anchoring the testicle in place so that it does not 'twist'. When a testicle twists the blood flow is cut off, and if not treated within 24 hours (hopefully much sooner) the testicle dies and must be amputated.

After being diagnosed, a testicular torsion is considered an emergency surgery. It is preformed with all due haste, and the general procedure is to first untwist the testicle and then to re-anchor it in place with silk surgical thread, which will support it in place for life. The surgeon will usually add a silk thread anchor to your other testicle too, just in case. Testicular torsions caused by weakened ligaments usually indicate a fault in those ligaments, so its better safe than sorry.

It may have untwisted itself, but if it truly is a torsion, it could come back at any time.

I guess it boils down to; how much are your testicles worth to you?

Tell that to someone with Crohns Disease. :rolleye2:

I don't know anyone with this affliction.

If I recall correctly from anatomy though, there are no nerve endings on internal organs.

Unless I'm not remembering correctly which is possible.

    You know, that sounds familiar.

But at the same time, I KNOW people feel things internally. Plus labor pains come from somewhere, and it isn't anywhere external. There is lots of internal stuff that most people have either experienced themselves or at least heard others talk about. Stomach pains, heart pains, etc.

So where is a person with real medical knowledge when ya need them? What's the deal with this?
