Wisdom Teeth are teh suck

We didn't have health insurance when I was younger and had to have mine taken out. As a result, I had to stay awake for the procedure because it was cheaper.

They gave me headphones to listen to, but I'll never forget the sound of Enya's "Orinoco Flow" contrasted against a 250 pound dentist breaking teeth apart in my jaw. It was quite lovely.

have you ever seen the move awake? That happened to me when i was knocked out for my wisdom teeth.. I don't remember everything but I remember all the crunching and some odd looking tools..

Yeah, the 6 weren't too bad actually. They worst part was I was in a band and our bass player was killed the next day by a drunk driver and I could attend the funeral (Didn't think the blood and spit everywhere would help the grieving process for anyone)

When i got mine out it took me a good couple of days of recovery and no solid food. Ice packs were a savior for my mouth!!

last night was pretty bad. the pain meds were making me sick, so I didnt want to take one before bed. But around 2 in the morning the pain was unbearable so I took one and felt much better for the rest of the night, and was actually able to sleep. When I went into the living room to get the pills I saw Chico (my leo) out and about in his tank which made me happy, seeing as I never see him out lol. Took him out for a little bit this morning. Figured we could both use some TLC :P I'm lucky I dont have a chipmunk face, never been a sweller:rolleyes:

lucky, I had hardcore chipmunk face. what pain meds did they give you?

5mg Hydrocodone. They've never sat well with me, but I'm building up a bit of a tolerance to it now.

Dry Socket.....thats all I can say right now:tears:
