How does that due for humidity?
What is the reason for using it vs. something else?

I keep some of my raise-ups on pelleted newspaper. It is extremely absorbent w/o getting funky too quickly & seems to work pretty well. From time to time I like to venture off the beaten path of kraft paper & experiment with new substrates.
