Congratulations and condolences all in the same day, Robin. I think your Chynna girl sent you something special so you could find a little joy in the day of her passing.

Here's to hoping for lots of yellowy white heads popping out. The time should go by pretty fast! :)

Yeah, actually I think that they did. Watching what everyone else did and their steps certainly made it easy to do what I needed to do to get them set-up! :D

Well, my enthusiasm was a little tempered by my previous mood - so I was pretty mechanical about it. Oh yeah - gotta take pictures, let's carefully pick them up, put them in the egg box - carry egg box to scale, weigh egss, put in egg box - walk to bathroom, turn off light - candle - come back out and put into incubator.

So - in a way it was good the first clutch came this way - so I got the first time out of the way - the other two will be less "scarey"! LOL

Karl and I both thought - one life leaves, some more enter in her place. Of course nothing will replace her - but it was a bit of an irony of the circle of life.
