Do the thermostats run more than one heat source?
I think it looks like the Johnson one does, with the power strip.
How good are Helix thermostats? If with the money, would they be a better choice than a Johnson or Ranco?
Thanks to everybody for answering all of my questions!
You guys are so helpful :)

Helix are good if you have something that needs to constantly stay warm.
Ranco and Johnson heat up, then turn of at the programmed temperature, then turn back on and back off when needed.
Helix and Herpstat are constantly on, but with varying amounts of power to keep the temperature constant.

Even off the grid at the ranch they draw so few amps that it is no problem at all! I have Helix's and 2 Herpstat II's and they are all good. Right now, one Helix is running 4 racks and another Helix is running 3 cages and another Helix is running 2 cages. When I get the big cages for the boas, I'll run the Herpstat II's since they can regulate the flex watt and the RHP's I'll need to keep the ambient temps up! :D
