It's 8oz to a cup.
Re: Why Exactly Are Snakes Weighed In Grams And Not Ounces?
Funny. I weigh and records our snakes in grams (well except the burm - you find me a metric bathroom scale for sale in the US) but always convert it into Imperial so I can understand it. =)

I live with an Englishman who begs on me as American still use the Imperial system...so then I ask him if he'd like go down to the pub for a half liter of beer. Usually shuts him up. =)

Grams are way more precise than ounces. It's 28 grams to an ounce. 8 ounces to a pound.
Don't ask me how I know this. :D
8 oz. to a cup, 16 oz. to a pound. I won't ask how you "know" that, but I have a feeling someone got ripped off. :D

I know how to use Google conversion searches and I'm not afraid to use it!
