Wow. I'm dissapointed in Bob. And was that really Jack Hanna? I don't remember him being such a blithering idiot. Unproffesional, immature, crap. And people think Steve was bad.

Doesn't Bob realize he's hurting himself and the hobby/industry doing this? Or is the money they are paying him for it worth it all?

I'm disappointed that they are essentially promoting voids on national TV.

I just don't like these videos. They do nothing to educate anyone; this kind of thing re-enforces the public's widespread view that snakes are scary and something to cower away from. How sad!

why not send off an email now... to reptile radio and ask that the question gets answered...

I've heard the procedure to remove the venom sacs doesn't always work, as well. IDK, I don't know much about hots at all... other than you shouldn't handle them bare-handed :colbert:

There are venom sac/glands and the ducts that the venom travels through to reach the fangs.

There are documented cases of the ducts regrowing but if you take the sac out there is no way for venom to be produced.

Sort of like a vasectemy. IF you just snip the tubes someone may get pregnant. If you remove the testes themselves there is no way to produce sperm.

I've got one or two emails from the bob fans out there and let me set something straight really quickly. I greatly respect Bob for what he's done for the hobby and reptile community in the past and years of work thats he's put into this industry. These clips however portray each and everyone of us like shumks in front of millions of people.

Fox and friends I believe was taped first, that hole incident was Jacks fault for letting Brain PLAY with a (what was described as a venomous animal that he clearly states was not a venomoid, however I believe it was and he was just lying) cobra....... How the two of them could leave that studio and not say that went terribly wrong, that we look like a bunch of clowns and did a terrible injustice to responsible reptile keepers is beyond me. HOW they could allow the same thing to happen TWICE is utterly irresponsible and tells me they were there to just get their faces on TV and show boat regardless of the repercussions.

I don't know whats worse, show boating to put your face on TV or truly not knowing what the hell your doing yet going on National TV claiming to be "the best herpetologist around"

Once an unfortunate mistake, twice = 100% loss of any and all respect I had for either one of them.

I agree Neil, I almost have half a mind to Email Bob!
