I'm very stressed. last year I got nothing and I saw over a dozen locks with 1.1 normals. This year I'm going nuts cause im breeding my MOJO to 2 3000 gram females. Seen a bunch of lock ups so now its just a waiting game. I hope I win.

Think the worst part is thinking you feel follicles and a female looks somewhat swollen and then they dont, and then they are bowl wrapping and hanging out on the cool side and doing just like they are supposed to and then BAM back to the hot side and not doing anything as the are supposed to. Then wait big follicles and run thru that rotation which keeps me second guessing every other day. I love it and hate it all at the same time, just cant wait to get eggs so that i can add one more thing to my list of worries.

    Gary,
I think my yellow belly must be related to yours. They must have had a domineering mom.

Our YB male is doing really good this year (his first breeding year). We did have to laugh though when we finally put him with our biggest female. The male is about 700 grams, our big female is about 5 feet long and just over 3,200 grams.

We kept checking them and poor Riordan (the male) was slowly working his way down the big female wrapping his tail madly. Poor thing, we just had to laugh! I swear he was thinking "for gawd's sakes there has got to be an end to this female somewhere down here!"

Thankfully he finally found where he needed to be and got the job done but it was hilarious watching him try to figure out this big girl of ours.

Tell me about it. He is larger then the the shatter type one. ANd the shatter breeds anything he can. But not the yellow belly. I So what him to breed he is from a proven line that has produced ivories.

I just hope my carmels and Ghosts breed next season.
