Re: what is the best type of housing
Boelens aren't too hard to find. Its just what time of year to start looking. They run about $5,000 a piece or so. I've debated picking some up....
As for the woma's...I gotta say, Blackheads blew them out of the water towards intelligence!

Andrew, you must have your fingers into everything! I like you ;)
Re: what is the best type of housing
Haha, I browse and plan a lot. Even thought I kept AfRocks as a majority, I kept alot of odds and ends, for fun. :D

Re: what is the best type of housing
Andrew, thanks so much for sharing your insight, especially about the enjoyment of owning a blackhead and their apparent intelligence over womas. I've always loved the look and size of both species, so it's very interesting to hear some comments from a keeper who has experience with them. =)

Black heads need a lot of room. Like the Drys, they love to cruise and are very handle-able. Our male is in a 6' AP and I'm thinking of bumping him up to an 8 footer. The aspidites in general are like big colubrids in so many ways.....
They are out there and are becoming more and more available. Prices are also finally beginning to drop.
