I know he's trying to sell his house no more than 30 minutes from here (4.5 million) Vick has agreed to pay nearly 1 million for the care of the dogs that were still alive on his property when it was raided.
If he returns to the NFL someday he will get paid for that but I doubt an endorser would touch him with a 10 ft pole at least in the near future.
so he's getting both his money taken and the prison sentence. Seems fair.
Sounds good to me then, thanks for the info!

He will definitely get signed when he is out by a team.
I would definitely like to have him on the Eagles.
Not at QB but another position.

He is very elusive, I don't buy into the "he isn't a good football player" at all. He has great footwork and runs the ball extremely well.

Re: Michael Vick gets 23 months
hell yeah free mike vick. people have done alot worse and gotten away with it.. yeah what he did was wrong but if OJ can get away with murdering 2 human beings why should vick get such a bad rap for a couple of his dogs (i find human life more important than a couple of pitbulls). there was more evidence to put OJ away then there was for vick.
You give a kid from the ghetto 122 million dollars of course he is gonna get in trouble. At least he didnt hurt anybody of kill anyone.....

What does that mean? That since they didn't find...OJ guilty we should just let people get away with anything?
I mean..aside from killing the dogs they were fighting MANY others.
I don't see the logic behind your statement.
I have a pit and I think it is a damn shame that people already feel the way they do about them but since they are just dogs...their disposable?
They are still...a living creature and not one deserves to be treated any less than the other.
Re: Michael Vick gets 23 months
In the hood the Michael Vick situation is commonly viewed as the railroading of an innocent man.The argument is that dog fighting as a sport is the equivalent of deer hunting for other segments of society. The idea of feeling compassion for animals is seen as madness (because after all they are just animals)and it is believed that certain people just couldnt stand to see Mr Vick doing so well for himself and felt compelled to bring him down. I am in no way supporting this position but I am attempting to explain the way that Mr Vicks supporters see the situation.
