I've got pics of the snakes, the story sounds legit. Sounds about like the "I thought my 2 male mice looked funny, and then I found babies. . ." story. . .

What it boiled down to was this :

He bought 2 ball pythons (Supposedly both males) and housed them together for a while, and then he realized one of his males looked funny and took it to the vet and found out it was pregnant.

He found out everything he had to do to keep her healthy and keep her preggo until she popped out the eggs.
He then incubated the eggs until they hatched, and now he has 5 healthy babies. He sold 1 of the babies before I could get in touch with him. Dont know the exact ages or sex (maybe I should ask, but I dont think he knows the sexes either) but his GF said he cant have all these snakes so he's just trying to get his investment ($100 total for the cage and everything he had to buy) and + $40 for shipping.

    And also,

I'm not buying the building, i'm renting it (VERY cheap)

Also got LOTS of stuff from a pet store that went out of business for a steal!
I have an Aunt that owns a pet store up in North Al. and she told me everything I would need and how to get started and mailed me a business plan and so I went over all of that stuff and figured out how much i'm gonna need. It's more than $2k because the licenses themselves are almost $500 all together. The loan was more than $2k also. I'll know this friday if I get it or not, so PLEASE keep your fingers crossed :)

My dad always told me, where there's a will there's a way, and I've been waiting SOOO long to prove myself to the people of my town.

I was born with a disability and so every time I apply for a job, I get turned down (The luxury of living in a small town and not having a "NAME") so I'm going to show everyone I can do it :D Luckily I have a supporting GF and supporting family who backs me 100% :)

Its funny though, how when you talk to someone on the phone they seem to ALWAYS be hiring, but then you walk in to the same business on crutches and all of a sudden they have too many employees or they just dont need the help right now. . .

IDK, maybe I just need to move to a bigger city :D

    Thanks for all the support,

    Nathan

Yeah, I never give up. I know that if I put forth enough effort anything is possible.

I'm going to school to be a CPA while I start this store. . .its just kind of a back up plan. I love accounting and i'm good at it. I'm gonna be working for H&R Block this tax season (Woot, go me!)

This thread (the beginning) reminds me of a friend who always said "text is the lowest form of communication". The easiest to misunderstand, the easiest for you to leave out info and not be able to fill in the blanks for quickly, etc.

We should probably all remember that as we answer posts, :gj:
