How many snakes do you have?

I sure do .... and I'm having the time of my life to boot! But it's taken a long time to get here ... I started out in the mid 90's as a hobbyist.

I have 12 ball pythons and by this seasons end should have about 20 to 25.

We have six snakes and another 2-4 to come next year.

For now we have:

4 ball pythons
1 corn snake
1 king snake

I currently have 1.0 Checkered Garter and I'm going to get a Western Hognose in mid-November, so I'll soon have a total snake count of 2.

23 Ball Pythons
0.6 Normal
1.5 50% PH Pied
1.1 Pastel
1.0 Cinnamon Pastel
1.1 WC Normal "Blushers"
1.0 100% Het Clown
1.2 100% Het Hypo
1.0 Lesser
0.1 Spider

I hope to round out and keep my collection at 50 ball pythons or less...but we'll see how well that is acheived...:D

Not a breeder here...I'm just a hobbiest gone wrong! With all those morphs you can't have just one!:D

Awesome... As soon as my fiance and I get back into a house (buying after we get married) I'll have at least 1 extra room just for my BP's.. My goal is to eventually be able to pay the bills with my "hobby" although BP's are not the only animals I'm interested in breeding. I also want to get in to Savannah cats (cross between a domestic short-hair tabby and an African Serval) and a couple of breeds of dogs...

See siggy...but I've got my eye on a reptile shop (oh so conveniently located right near my uni...somehow I think that's gonna be bad, eventually, what with my tendency to buy...) and might acquire new ones at any time. I'm planning on ~2 normal females by Daytona, and at least 1 morph...I'm thinking a female cinny or mojo, and a lesser boy. Pastel girls would be nice, too, but I might be overbudgeting.

Why?

I am not a breeder and I have no problem keeping and providing for 22 snakes and likely more to come :D
