    yeah thats kinda what i was thinking, makes sense doesnt it. Its a cold room where its kept and i think thats what i will do :)

    i have one problem with heat on the top of the wooden viv where the lamp is sitting and the fact that it IS getting hot and creates a (wood in the oven) smell.
    what would be the best thing to repel the heat from the wood?
    i was thinking tin foil wrapped round the area in question???
