Re: which rack brand would you choose?
I have freedom breeder racks which are great but expensive.

I also have animal plastics which I like too but do not have wheels and are not easily moved and can be damaged moving if you are not careful.

The last rack i got was a Vision CB-70 rack which can be converted to a hatchling rack, 30 quart rack, what ever tub size you like and is on caster wheels. I t is probably the best rack for the $ I think it's $599 for 11 cb-70 spaces. I like having a rack that can change as my needs change. I actually had 3 different size tubs in this rack(at the same time) at one point. Now I have 12 hatchling tubs in it and 8 CB-70 tubs set up in the one rack and could actually have gone another row of 4 hatchling racks if I needed. I change it all the time. Heating is a heat cable which can be changed to many different configurations.
I made a thread about it called "Versatile Rack" if someone wants to search it.

Next year I want to get an ARS rack, they look really nice.

I build my own. I just built a new rack that holds 7 - 12qt. tubs and it only cost me $95 to build and heat. I actually found a Home Depot store credit card in the parking lot on my way into the store to buy the materials. My total was about $75 and when I gave them the card to see if there was any money on it, they said I still had $82. SCORE! Free rack. $20 worth of heat tape and the rack was finished in 2 1/2 hours, including wiring and installing the Flexwatt. HD will cut all the melamine or wood to size for you for $0.25 per cut after the first 2 free cuts. Just drill, screw, tape and plug in.
