Re: WOW- anyone know what kind of snake this is??
no its deff not a carpet python. i have a male Jungle carpet python and they only get up to 5-6 ft. and about 5-10 pounds.

While I totally agree that the snake in the pic is not a carpet python don't get to married to the idea that JCPs only get 5-6 feet. Given you have a male he proabally won't get to big and JCPs stay smaller on average then CCPs but I have seen an 8 foot female JCP and I just saw a HUGE Coastal at the last Lonestar Reptile Show, it was easily more then 8 feet and had the girth or a 7ish foot boa.
Re: WOW- anyone know what kind of snake this is??
oh wow see at our reptile shows in Columbus,Ohio they usualy have Carpet Pythons bigger then 5-6 ft... so i guess i was wrong. thanks for tellin gme

Wow cool pic. Yeah looks like an Olive for sure. Looks to be a good size one at that.
Yeah watch out about the 5-6 carpets. Only carpets I know to usually stay that small are the Irian Jaya's. I have a 7' Male Jungle and a 7 ft. Female. I have had Coastals up to 9-10ft. But also depends on how you feed it.
