Basically a project. Trying to prove out unproven genetics.

Mine has a wider white belly but I like the dorsal pattern better on yours. I'm hoping to arrange a breeding loan of mine to a Mojave this winter. I was thinking breeding to a yellow belly but I recently saw a specter and have a little better idea on those and she doesn't even seem close. I’m still plenty confused on what the specter looks like but I just know she isn’t it.

Yours has the color, rounded alien heads, and fading that could put it in the white snake family. Being a male is both good and bad. If it is something new you can reproduce it quicker but it might be hard to dedicate an adult mojave female to an unproven male that could turn out to be a very neat normal (but I doubt it).

Get him bred and let us know what comes out!

It's a Ralphism... Thats what he calls odd balls and other special projects that he's just 'dinking around with'

This is real interesting, are you saying that crossing something like this male to a mojave could produce a leucy? I understand the mojaveXmojave, but have there been black pastel looking animals crossed with mojaves to get 'white snakes'? I was going to cross him with a cinny to see if I could get a super cinny from him, which would also tell me he is a black pastel/cinny...but I am thinking now I should invest in a mojave....this could get interesting....I think I just have explored this term they call 'dinker' :D

I've not seen a ton of white snake makers and have seen even fewer cinnies so take my advice with a grain of salt and maybe show him in person to someone who has both. But to me he looks more like a white snake maker than a cinnamon.

But it would be hard to breed him to an adult female Mojave when there are any number of reasonably priced males (like another mojave) you could breed her to and have a sure thing. Maybe breed him to normals first and see if he even produced more like himself. To me that's the bad thing about cheap morphs; less incentive to prove new ones, particularly with males.

The proven cinnamons have been crossed with mojave and lesser and not produced anything unexpected, right?

Here is a pic of the belly on my similar looking girl:

Looks very similar to a girl that was sold to me as a normal as well, but also resembles a granite/cinnamon.

So what are "white snake" markers? Could someone explain this more to me? Has anyone had a similar snake when bred to something else produce a white snake?
