 Thats amazing! I can't wait to have my own snake room. I'm up to two ball pythons right now, so no snake room yet, but I'm saving up for a rack that houses four so that'll give me room for two more babies! I'm still trying to decide what my next one will be. Het or actual morph? *ponders*

Dang Tim, you got a lotta snakes! :P

My "snake room" is actually just a corner of my bedroom... my racks can hold a total of 19 - 24 snakes of assorted sizes. The rat rack is in the other corner of the room, and in the living room I keep snakes in quarantine.

Thanks D. Not as many as some people, but they do keep me plenty busy all week long.

This is my FIRST snake room. It's a small bathroom, I converted, and mostly I heated the room with the oil-filled heater. Everyone did QUITE well in there, but... they outgrew it in numbers. Obviously it was overdue for a cleaning at the time I took the picture. I built the rack in the foreground myself, stealing the idea from Neil Golli.
Those are not stockings hanging up, it's sheds, whole complete ones only too. There's a board laid over the tub itself so I could use the space for the racks.

THIS is the newer snake room, although there are MANY more racks in there, no rats(the rats have racks in the first snakeroom/bathroom now), so it' much fuller. I'm about to move them all AGAIN to my back bedroom. They shouldn't outgrow it, since I'm rather determined to stay somewhere close to 50 snakes in number. Right now, I have 46. With three baby spiders for sale, and I'll probably weed out some of the normal females as I replace them with hets or morphs(when those get breeding size). I only have TWO normal males in my collection. I use them as handling animals when someone wants to hold one of my snakes, and occasionally take them to functions so people can see a lovely calm non-killer snake. This way I don't have to freak about someone touching an expensive morph, and they serve as PR specialists. Both are very calm and seem to enjoy, or at least, not mind handling. Every time I need one out, one or the other is in shed, so this way I have one at all times. Bill was my first bp ever. Blackback was in a shipment of possible morphs, and I ended up keeping him.
I'll post pictures when I finally get my newest(hopefully the last) snakeroom when I finally get it cleaned out and set up. I'll be putting the foamboard down under the racks this time too, so that the floor heat or cold doesn't affect the racks.
    Hope you enjoy.
